"We stayed at Shangrila for two nights"
We stayed at Shangrila for two nights.I can’t praise enough the staff and hotel itself. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a city view room which was amazing. Our room was facing St Paul’s Cathedral and other famous landmarks. The views were absolutely breathtaking.I decided to use the pool and sauna. It was brilliant! Again stunning views as the pool is located on the 52nd floor. Breakfast was delicious with great selection of cold and hot food, fruits, pastries. The facilities at the hotel are great but what makes everything perfect is people, the staff. A big thank you to duty manager Tylor, staff at the reception, especially Jasmine, Andzelika, pool attendant. You made our stay memorable.❤️

"Love the Shangri-La hotel"
I've stayed at the Shangri-La hotel a few times and have always had a great experience. I'm surprised by the comments of some because I have had nothing but an excellent stay each time.

"Sorry Shangri la mactan Cebu"
Stayed here for 3 nights recently. Staff great, location great , beach and grounds great. Dining very good to fair at best dependant upon location.
However rooms and accommodation seriously sad and in desperate need of a make over and upgrade. More so when you consider the price charged. Just arrived here from a similar level hotel okada and that is light years ahead in all aspects of accommodation.
Time to stop resting on past laurels and use some of that money you charge to improve your accommodation commensurate with the price tag charged

"Sorry Shangri la mactan Cebu"
Stayed here for 3 nights recently. Staff great, location great , beach and grounds great. Dining very good to fair at best dependant upon location.
However rooms and accommodation seriously sad and in desperate need of a make over and upgrade. More so when you consider the price charged. Just arrived here from a similar level hotel okada and that is light years ahead in all aspects of accommodation.
Time to stop resting on past laurels and use some of that money you charge to improve your accommodation commensurate with the price tag charged

"Treat all customers with respect"
My first time staying at Shangri-la Bangkok. Came for business trip. At breakfast I requested coffee, the orders are taken and they start to serve others while I sit there and wait and I finish my breakfast yet they don't serve coffee. This happened two times in a row. I felt discriminated perhaps because of my race and color. The staff need to realise and treat all guests equally. For some of us respect is important

"London/Shard…"
Recently stayed at their London/Shard property. Very poor value for money - high prices are okay for high quality and service. Unfortunately service fell significantly short of expectations - some examples I encountered: reception staff were untrained on both check in and check out, check in at 4pm/checkout at 11am, very poor service in Ting restaurant and told we were unable to get a drink after 11pm. I would avoid this property as there are much better 5 star hotels in London at a similar price point.

"Shame standards are slipping"
A very nice hotel , but after staying on several ocations, the standards are dropping , pool scruffy and murky , room doors scratched and damaged , we did leave two keys in the safe and were told it would cost £58 + 5% handling charge to post them back to us , disgraceful, how not to treat your clients !!!!
