I was a little unsure at first, but I felt relieved after trying it. The booking process felt secure, and the payment steps were clear the whole way through. I got the email confirmation quickly too, which made me feel better. No weird popups or shady redirects, thankfully. The only thing is the login on my phone could be a bit smoother, but overall I felt safe using the site.

"Nice stay, but not totally convinced on the value"
I booked through shangri-la.com and the process was straightforward, no real issues there. The hotel itself was nice and the staff were friendly and helpful, so I can’t really complain about the service. That said, for the price, I expected a little more to be included. Breakfast and some of the extras felt quite expensive on top of an already pricey stay. Overall, it was a good experience, but I left feeling a bit unsure whether it was really worth the money.

Like I said, it was nice not seeing any weird fees pop up at checkout. Everything looked straightforward, and like I said, that made the whole process feel a lot better.

The place itself is really nice and has a good vibe, but the service didn’t quite match the luxury feel I was expecting. It wasn’t terrible, just a bit hit or miss, and for the price or setting, I expected a little more attention to detail.

"Loyalty perks didn’t live up to the promise"
I’ve booked through shangri-la.com a few times because I figured the loyalty program would actually be worth sticking with. The hotels themselves are nice and the website works fine, but the member benefits have been disappointing in practice. Points don’t seem to build up very quickly, and a lot of the perks sound much better online than what you actually get when you show up. I’ve never been offered an upgrade, even on dates that seemed quiet. For a brand this big, I think they need to be more upfront and accountable about what members can realistically expect. If the perks are being advertised as a reason to book direct, they should actually make guests feel valued.

"I actually really liked the pool and…"
I actually really liked the pool and gym, and the room had some nice touches too. At first I thought everything felt modern, although, actually, a few areas did feel a bit dated once you looked around. The spa was nice, but booking it wasn’t as easy as I expected. Overall, still a good stay.

I go to the bar/lounge at Shangri-La and was expecting way better. The place did look really nice and the view is great, but that was kind of it. The service was slow and felt a little cold. We were waiting forever just to order drinks, and after that nobody really came and check on us. The drinks was okay, but definitely not worth what they cost. For a hotel like this, it just feel a bit careless. Maybe it was only a bad night, but I left disappointed

I reached out to shangri-la.com with a question about my booking, and they did get back to me, but it took a little longer than I was hoping. The person who replied was polite, which I appreciated, but the first response wasn’t super clear!!
After a few back-and-forth messages, they eventually sorted everything out, so it wasn’t a bad experience overall. I just expected it to feel a bit smoother and quicker from a hotel like this

I used shangri-la.com to look up rooms and prices, and it was straightforward. The layout is clear, and the booking steps actually make sense, so I didn’t have to waste time figuring out what to do next. That said, a few pages took longer to load than I had patience for, which got irritating fast. The filters could also be better because I don’t want to keep digging around manually. Still, it’s a decent site overall and not confusing to use

Stayed here mostly for the views, it was so worth it. The surroundings were gorgeous, the whole place had such a chill vibe, and waking up there felt dang special.

Breakfast was alright overall. There were plenty of options, which was nice, but the food came out kind of cold and the service felt slow. Compared to other busy breakfast spots I’ve been to, this one just didn’t quite keep up

"Decent hotel, but the location wasn’t great"
I booked this place thinking it would be convenient for getting around, but it ended up being more of a hassle than I expected. Compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at in similar price ranges, this one felt a bit out of the way. There wasn’t much nearby that I actually wanted to check out, and even getting a taxi seemed to take longer than it should have. The hotel itself was fine, nothing really wrong with it, but I did feel kind of stuck in the area a lot of the time. For what I paid, I was expecting either a better location or at least easier access to restaurants, shops, or transportation

It’s a nice place, really nice, but I felt like the kids were more tolerated than actually welcomed. Nothing was terrible or anything, but the vibe was just a little off for families.

"Pretty much what I expected"
The bed was actually nice and I slept okay, but the room had that slightly dated feel I was already kind of expecting. The AC kept going in and out a bit, which just confirmed my feeling that the place wasn’t quite as comfortable as it should be for the price. Not terrible, but I was hoping for a little more
